Background Overview

Since the start of Camp David in 2005, seed was planted in the hearts of young women to have a retreat for them as well. In August 2008 all the role players came together, and Camp Ruth was born out of Camp David, as Eve was born out of Adam (Gen. 2:21).

Since then we had a visionary planning weekend in November 2008 to decide on the functionality and structure of the camp. Madelein Griffiths became the first lady to take up the fulltime administrator calling and is behind the scenes busy planning the camps and handling all the enquiries, along with the Rimmone Leadership team.

In 2009 there will be 3 Camp Ruth’s – In April, July and October.
